The house is a brand new two storey building and nestled within an orchard garden with trees like coconut, jackfruit, mango, bananas sheltering it. There are four attractively fully furnished apartments on offer for a daily or long term rental on first and second floors.

The first floor has two apartments comprising of one bedroom, hall and kitchen. The other two apartments on the second floor comprise of one bedroom and a spacious living cum dining room with built in kitchen.

All the four bedrooms are identical in size, have an attached balcony and bathroom cum toilet. They are beautifully furnished with either one double bed or two twin wooden beds with comfortable branded eight inches thick spring mattresses, has a teak wood cupboard with a private locker.
The lounge area has a 32 inches LCD TV with Tata sky satellite connection, a convertible wooden sofa cum double bed, coffee table, dining table with chairs for four, plus attached balcony with chairs for sit out. The kitchen is very elegant with L shaped granite counter, fully fitted wooden cabinets and equipped with key amenities for self cater.
All the apartments are airy with good view. Approximate area of each of the apartments is 500 Sq Ft or 50 Sq M. They are perfect for a couple or a family of four.
The House keeping team cleans the apartments on regular basis. If you are looking for a homely atmosphere then you will experience the same at San Miguel. Its objective is to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

Accommodation
The Dining Hall in the centre of the house is an enormous room - its long table can seat at least 14 for dinner. Hopefully the Karma Sutra painting on the wall will titillate your taste buds!
The kitchen is well equipped and leads out to the Dining Hall.
The huge main family bathroom includes shower, basin and toilet with a bath to be installed for next season.

The four bedrooms: -Bedroom 1 has an antique double four-poster bed and its own shower.
-Bedroom 2 has a double antique bed with both shower and toilet ensuite.
-Bedroom 3 is a spacious room with two large single beds (which can be combined to make a huge double) and has its own secluded outside shower.(to be added next season)
-Bedroom 4 is an extra room, which serves as library, study, dressing room and massage room, but with a day bed so it can be used as a single bedroom. This is situated in between the family bathroom and bedroom 3, therefore creating a separate suite.
The balcony fronts the house, and also runs the whole length of the side of the house. This is a big space, and should guests wish to sleep under the stars there are day beds here too.
Next to this balcony is the pool is and, next to the pool, a Gazebo - actually a permanent structure. Here a further few guests could choose to sleep, or a couple wishing to be alone in a very romantic space of their own.
Film/fashion shoots and wedding parties
The house is also a great base for film location/fashion shoots. As well as the house, the verandah and its gorgeous pool, there are fantastic locations in the vicinity which Max can show you. And all this is bathed in the beautiful Goan light. At the end of the lane by the temple, there is ample space to accommodate a number of large trucks if necessary. Large rickshaws are available to transport equipment. Wedding parties can also be accommodated by special arrangement.

The apartments will be cleaned every day by their staff, who live on site in their own purpose built accommodation.
The beach of Varca is a 20-25 minute stroll via the lanes taking you pass the paddy fields and local houses, or catch the local bus just outside on the corner to Carmona. Get off at the last stop this will cost 5-7 rupees. Once on the beach there are plenty of beach bars to choose from and water sport activities.
The local Village of Varca is a 10-15 minute walk, where you will find a selection of shop all used by the locals. There is a good supermarket pass Varca church where you can get all the basics and more. If you are loaded up the taxi stand is opposite the church and a ride back to the apartments cost around 50-100 rupees.

Accommodation
Antique Portuguese wooden entrance doors open onto a double storey feature main entrance hall with a sweeping staircase and gallery landing having stained glass windows. A pool table is located in the hall area. Leading off the entrance at ground level is a garden facing lounge/dining room with 4 sets of double, handmade carved and glass doors opening onto a covered veranda overlooking the pool. The room is fitted with ceiling fans and air conditioning having an LCD TV/DVD and 8 setter dining table with modern and antique furniture. Off the lounge area are two double bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom with imported fittings, marble and Spanish tiles comprising double sinks, toilet, shower and one having a long bath. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning wit doors and windows having traditional mother of pearl glazing.
The dining room end of the room leads into a large kitchen equipped to the latest western standards with breakfast bar, double door American fridge, small drinks fridge, dishwasher, gas cocking range, electric over, microwave, water purifier and 3 sinks(one fitted with a waste disposal unit). Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Going back to the entrance hall, the staircase leads to the spacious master suite. This is ideal for honeymoons or for a couple that just wants sheer indulgence. The gallery has a small balcony overlooking the pool and leads into the master suite. The first room is a lounge/sitting area, with day bed and ceiling fan overlooking the garden and pool through full height glass windows and has antique furniture and a drinks fridge together with tea and coffee making facilities. Leading off the sitting area is the huge main bedroom occupying half the length the house and has ceiling fans, air-conditioning, modern queen size bed, traditional small balconies and screened area with sofa. Continuing through this main bedroom is a large separate dressing area with one door from this into the gymnasium fitted with an Exercise bike and Skiing machine and a second door into a very large luxurious bathroom suite fitted with marble and Spanish tiles and having a 2-seater feature corner bath, separate walk-under shower, twin glass wash basins, toilet and bidet.

A THREE BEDROOM BUNGLOW:- A three bedroom Bungalow Fully furnished with two bed rooms having air conditioner and one bedroom without air conditioner, with a furnished living room with a tv connection, a large Kitchen cum dining room fully furnished with Granite Work tops a fridge, cooking gas, utensils, Plates, glasses, knives etc. The Dining Room is located at the center of the house and two attached Bath cum toilet having hot & cold water facility. The Bungalow can accommodate three couples or a group of 6 people. Additional person will be charged extra.

Just relax and enjoy the peace. It is a quiet area, but with village life around you. There are parrots, eagles, water buffalo, cows and even an elephant that lives close by and who you will often see out and about. If you are sitting out at night enjoying the peace, you may hear singing coming from the house nearby, always around 8pm. The scent of burning wood and incense is all around in the evening
Accommodation
The Dining Hall in the centre of the house is an enormous room - its long table can seat at least 14 for dinner. Hopefully the Karma Sutra painting on the wall will titillate your taste buds!
The kitchen is well equipped and leads out to the Dining Hall.
The huge main family bathroom includes shower, basin and toilet with a bath to be installed for next season.
The four bedrooms:
-Bedroom 1 has an antique double four-poster bed and its own shower.
-Bedroom 2 has a double antique bed with both shower and toilet ensuite.
-Bedroom 3 is a spacious room with two large single beds (which can be combined to make a huge double) and has its own secluded outside shower.(to be added next season)
-Bedroom 4 is an extra room, which serves as library, study, dressing room and massage room, but with a day bed so it can be used as a single bedroom. This is situated in between the family bathroom and bedroom 3, therefore creating a separate suite.
The balcony fronts the house, and also runs the whole length of the side of the house. This is a big space, and should guests wish to sleep under the stars there are day beds here too.
Next to this balcony is the pool is and, next to the pool, a Gazebo - actually a permanent structure. Here a further few guests could choose to sleep, or a couple wishing to be alone in a very romantic space of their own. The house is lit by many lanterns (as well as conventional lighting of course) and the high-powered, silent ceiling fans will keep you cool.
Film/fashion shoots and wedding parties
The house is also a great base for film location/fashion shoots. As well as the house, the verandah and its gorgeous pool, there are fantastic locations in the vicinity which Max can show you. And all this is bathed in the beautiful Goan light. At the end of the lane by the temple, there is ample space to accommodate a number of large trucks if necessary. Large rickshaws are available to transport equipment. Wedding parties can also be accommodated by special arrangement.
